The P Family

Happy New Year!!! I hope that you were able to ring in the new year with loved ones close by, lots of laughter and a world of hope for what the new year brings.

Several weeks ago, I had the pleasure of working with an old friend of mine on her home! We started out doing consultation for a remodel that her family is planning, but we ended up being able to do some decor work as well!

This opportunity was especially fun for me because we had the chance to use items that Michelle already had to  decorate a space. We were able to pick out items that coordinated well together and gave her dining room a completely new look with no extra cost!

Don't you love the pops of turquoise, blue and green in this picture? I LOVE how earthy and calming it is!

A view of the wall. Michelle already had this painting in her collection (BEAUTIFUL!) and it ties the colors and feel of the room together perfectly!

Michelle, I had so much fun working with you and I can't wait to see all of the wonderful things you do with your fabulous home!!

Just a quick side note that I must share: I feel so blessed because I have had SUCH a wonderful time working with each of my clients and each project this year has been so fulfilling and rewarding. Thank you all so much for your continued support and encouragement during c.d.b. design's first year. I know that trusting someone to enter your home to make changes can be a personal decision that requires a leap of faith and I am genuinely honored to have the opportunity to work with each of you.

I am so excited for what the new year holds for c.d.b. design and I look forward to sharing it all with each of you! I wish each of you nothing but continued health, success and happiness in 2012!

Cheers!

Rebekah Lynne's Nursery!

Some very sweet friends of mine just welcomed their first baby girl into the world, Rebekah Lynne. This was my first nursery to decorate, and Jess was so WONDERFUL and patient with me, despite a few hiccups! The nursery turned out so cute, and is perfect for Rebekah and her future brothers and sisters!

So sweet!

Such a beautiful name for a beautiful girl! Jessica found an amazing person to custom make the letters, which go perfectly with the stripes!

If you aren't 100% sold on using wall stickers on your wall, use them to make a craft project for an awesome wall hanging!

Jessica did an amazing job on her nursery, and it was so fun to work with her to get ready for Rebekah's arrival!

Last but definitely MOST important, THIS is precious Rebekah Lynne! Look at that beautiful angel face!! Such an amazing gift from God.

H Family Reveal!

Hi all!
So, the H home is complete!! I had a wonderful time working on this beautiful home! There was so much about it that was simply amazing, so it was easy to make each space pop. I'm thankful to the H family for letting me work on their home and I hope they love the finished product! Without further delay, here's some pictures of the finished project!

Do you remember the wrought iron picture? Here is the finished product! Stunning!
Chocolate and a slate blue make for a beautiful curtain combination!
I love the integration of chocolate and slate throughout the home!
These rust and chocolate curtains were selected to match....

THESE beautiful window treatments in the living room!

A close-up of the pattern! I LOVE it!

I hope you guys enjoyed the reveal of the H family's home! This was such a fun project and I enjoyed every minute of working with them!

Next up is the T family nursery- I can't wait for you to see it!

The I Family

Hi, all!

Aaannd.... we're back!! c.d.b. design has been working fast and furious behind the scenes on some amazing projects and developments and we can't wait to share them with you! We've been building our company structure and name as well as working with an amazing family in their beautiful home! We have so many great things going on, so keep a look out for lots of future updates!

In the meantime, I wanted to share a project with you guys that was a perfect tribute to a wonderful family! The "I" family is not only amazing, but they are also very close friends of mine and were gracious enough to be my very first project as c.d.b. design! I can definitely say that there was a lot of trust and faith on their part to let me invade their home and let the creative juices flow!

The "I" family has a beautiful home and had a space in their front room that they were wanting to fill.  Well, they have been blessed with three amazing girls, and we found a great way to feature their daughters while finding a sweet, personalized way to fill their room!

I had Julie choose some of her favorite pictures of the girls sleeping at around the same age range.  Then I blew up the photos, made them black and white and personalized them with their names. I painted the frame mats to all match and spray painted black lettering to personalize each of the frames. The background color turned out to be a kakhi with a hint of blush pink, which went perfectly with the black lettering and black frames. It was such a fun project that was an easy, affordable way to pay tribute to a beautiful family and provide a personalized decor option for an open room in their home! I can't wait to work with them again!

Before shot of the room. Don't you LOVE that piano? So classic!

Sophia is their oldest daughter and is the spitting image of her father! Adorable girl and such a sweet personality!

Evelyn is the beautiful blonde middle child with her mama's amazing blue eyes! Love her!

Anna is the "I" family's newest addition and is such a sweet baby!

The completed room! This was such a fun project and it turned out beautifully! Love this family!

Thanks for stopping by! Check back with us again soon to hear more about what we're up to!

Cheers!
